Known worldwide as one of the most acclaimed voices of his generation, Mexican singer, producer, songwriter Luis Miguel has executed a brilliant and successful career that has captivated the hearts of millions of people around the world for almost three decades…and there is plenty more to come.

From the beginning of his musical trajectory at an early age, Luis Miguel always set unprecedented records, thanks to not only his extraordinary voice, his versatility to perform different music genres including pop, bolero, mariachi, Big Band and romantic ballads, but also for his poised, elegance and true artist’s essence that ultimately has made him one of music’s greatest icon and top-selling artist in the world.

Throughout his exceptional career, Luis Miguel has released 21 albums, sold more than 60 million records worldwide, certified multiple Diamond, Platinum and Gold records, broken attendance records in each of his world tours,  and has received numerous awards.

By the age of fifteen, he receives his first Grammy Award, which would later be joined by nine more for his albums “Aries”,“Romances”,“Segundo Romance”, “Amarte Es un Placer” and “Mexico En La Piel.” The Latin Recording Academy has also recognized Luis Miguel with six Latin Grammy Awards to date. 

Some of the other prestigious awards he has received are: Billboard Awards, World Music Awards, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Ondas, Premio Juventud, Premio Luna, Dalia de Plata, Trofeo ACE, Laurel de Oro, Montecarlo Award and Viña Del Mar Festival’s Gaviota de Oro and Gaviota de Plata.

In 1996, the commonly referred “Sol De Mexico” got his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, all while still holding the record as the best-selling living performing Latin artist.  His world tours are known for selling out arenas and theatres throughout the world and have been recognized as one of the best and most successful tours by both Billboard and Pollstar magazines. In México alone, Luis Miguel set another record by concluding a series of 30 consecutive concerts at the city’s National Auditorium and he is granted the “Estela de Plata”, the greatest honor ever given to any artist, gathering a total of 300,000 people and breaking his own personal record. With his latest album, “Complices” released in 2007, Luis Miguel once again broke record by becoming the artist with the most #1 albums in the history of Billboard magazine.  “Complices” became a fast success worldwide, placing # 1 in several countries including Mexico, Spain, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Argentina, among others. He also reached the #10 position on Billboard’s “TOP 200”, the highest he has reached in his career in the United States.

2010 predicts to be another amazing year for the superstar who returns to the music scene with a new album that will definitely mark an important phase of his already successful career.

LUIS MIGUEL, the artist’ new album, set to be released on September 14, was recorded in the city of Los Angeles and produced by the singer who, as in all his recording, poured his heart, soul and romanticism through his unmistakable voice into this production. “Labios de miel,” “Mujer de Fuego,” “Tres Palabras,” “Ella es así,” “No existen límites”, “Siento,” “Lo que queda de mí,” “Es por ti,” “De quién es usted” y “Tal vez me mientes,” are the 10 songs included on the new record.The first single, “Labios De Miel,” which debuted on August 3rd., went straight to # 1 in radio stations nationwide just a few hours after it was released.

Luis Miguel’s new production is the following work from an extensive list of award winning albums, produced by the international star that have been honored by the public and the music industry. Due to the celebration of Mexico’s Bicentennial, Luis Miguel will be performing at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas on September 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th.

The launch of the world tour in support of the new album is scheduled to kick off in South America in November 2010 and will continue on to Spain, Mexico and the US in 2011.
